Ryobi Holdings, a large Japanese conglomerate, has shifted its focus to the well-being industry, adopting the concept of “boosting immunity and powers of recovery to create healthy minds and bodies for the next decade.” Under this philosophy, it opened the comprehensive wellness club RR Conditioning & SPA in November, 2023. The facility is located in Okayama City, and features a conditioning gym, natural hot spring spa & sauna, stone sauna, recovery room (therapeutic treatments), fitness center, indoor golf lounge, relaxation area, and a members’ lounge.

Client Requests

In order to make the new business venture a success, it was necessary to hire trainers with expertise in sports medicine and sports science. R-body, which has a long track record coaching everyone from top athletes to the general public, and is dedicated to using conditioning training to help people regain functional movement, was contracted to help manage the project under the theme of “bringing the real thing closer.”

Services Provided

1. Permanent Dispatch of Conditioning Coaches
   We have permanently stationed two of our conditioning coaches on site. They provided pre-opening support such as training for staff, equipment selection, layout design, and operational advice; and post-opening they continue to provide ongoing support to ensure high quality service standards are maintained.​
2. Infusing R-body Culture
   In response to the client’s request to fully adopt R-body’s business culture, we provide daily training and instruction to staff members on not only the technical aspects of coaching and customer service, but also more subtle areas like dress code and soft communication skills. We also maintain close contact with both the trainers and facility managers to ensure the culture and service standards are in line with R-body’s own corporate culture.
